Table Top & Magic Gaming

The Tabletop area at RetroWorld Expo 2017 is more than 3 times larger than at previous shows! We will have a huge library of demo games in our Tabletop Freeplay Area staffed by our amazing Tabletop volunteer team.  Our staff will be happy to teach you how to play something or get you ready for one of our Tabletop Tournaments. If you are a fan of Magic the Gathering, we have you covered too 😉

Magic Torunaments are back at RWX. We have dedicated tables in the tabletop freeplay area so our partners at The Dragon’s Lair are able to run tournaments on Saturday and Sunday. Stay tuned for the schedule and types of tournaments.

In Codenames, players form two teams and must identify the team’s agents before the other team does. As with any spy thriller, there’s mystery and danger afoot; not all of the codenames are agents, and not all of the agents are on your team.  Codenames is a very easy game to learn, and yet it takes tools including deductive reasoning and active listening skills to emerge victorious. It’s one of the best casual tabletop games released in the past few years– and we invite you to check it out at #RWX17 at the Connecticut Convention Center, if not before.
