On this day in 1999, Super Smash Bros. was released for the Nintendo 64 in Japan. While the original was initially meant to be a fighting game with no #nintendo characters, the latter games in the series have transformed in to a celebration of not just Nintendo but gaming as a whole.

What do you think is the best #ResidentEvil game?

Released first in North America on this day in 2005, Resident Evil 4 has been lauded as one of the greatest games of all time (It definitely is) and is considered the best game released of the "Capcom Five" which were a set of five #Capcom games planned for release only on the #Nintendo Gamecube. Some of the other games in this set were Viewtiful Joe and Killer7.
